About Our Coalition Organizations

The organizations that make up the Eleven-Eleven Coalition are:

  • American Gold Star Mothers – an organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country
  • Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America – the nation’s first and largest group dedicated to the Troops and Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the civilian supporters of those Troops and Veterans
  • NY State for Vets – provides counseling and employment assistance services to honorably discharged veterans seeking meaningful employment in their communities
  • Service Women’s Action Network – works to improve the welfare of current U.S. servicewomen and to assist all women veterans
  • Student Veterans of America – coalition of student veterans groups from college campuses across the U.S. that works to develop new student groups, coordinate between existing student groups, and advocate on behalf of student veterans at the local, state, and national level
  • The Bob Woodruff Foundation – raises awareness and funds for service members injured in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families to assist in their successful reintegration into their communities
  • U.S. VETS – the largest non-profit organization in the country dedicated to helping homeless and at-risk veterans and a nationally recognized leader in the field of service delivery to veterans
  • Veterans of Modern Warfare – our nation’s newest national Veterans service organization, focused on mutual assistance to Veterans with military service from 1990 through the present
  • VFW Foundation – improves the lives of veterans and service personnel, their families, and the communities in which they live and work
  • Vietnam Veterans of America – the only national Vietnam veterans organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families
  • Wounded Warrior Project – provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life
